Mindy Brown, LMFT
Therapist

Mindy (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides thoughtful, client-centered care to children, teens, and adults. She earned her undergraduate degree in Counseling Psychology and Linguistics, and her Master’s degree from Mount Mercy University.

Mindy’s approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices. She works to create a supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered to explore their experiences, build self-awareness, and develop meaningful coping strategies. Her goal is to help clients strengthen their connection with themselves and others while navigating life’s challenges with greater resilience.

In addition to eating disorders, Mindy has experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions. She has a special interest in working with body image concerns, grief and loss, infertility, and chronic illness.

Her clinical work integrates Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and creative approaches such as play and art-based techniques, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.

Mindy sees children as young as 5, as well as adolescents and adults. She accepts Wellmark BCBS plans. Her self-pay rates are $195 for intake sessions and $185 for ongoing sessions, with limited sliding scale availability.
